Our Queens all have their babies in our bedroom where they stay for the first three weeks of their life. The kittens be monitored easily and the queen has a peaceful haven away from the rest of the house hold. When the kittens are three weeks old the baby-box is taken to a downstairs room so that the little ones get used to all the normal household noises. They are gradually integrated into the feline and human family. I find this makes for confident socialised pets. |
